Spaceport in the news: Total licensing and the Kids Media Club podcast

It’s been a stellar week for Spaceport, most recently with two great media mentions. Kids Media Club Podcast is a podcast hosted by Jo Redfern, Andy Williams, and Emily Horgan. In each episode they chat with a different guest about the world of Kids Media. Most recently in conversations with Eric Calderon an executive at Falcon’s Beyond, the conversation moved to IP and licensing, which led to some interesting points about Spaceport’s role in creating a new model for licensing as a form of marketing for brands. Listen to more here.

In other news, Spaceport’s COO, Craig Zevin wrote a piece for Total LIcensing’s Autumn editions entitled: How IP serves Advertising. Craig explores how IP can serve as a powerful marketing tool, driving revenue and building brand loyalty. By extending their digital IP into physical experiences, brands like Netflix and Disney are creating immersive and engaging opportunities for consumers. This integrated approach, exemplified by the success of Roblox and virtual malls, offers a unique blend of accessibility and tangible experiences to appeal to Gen Z and beyond.
